In comparison with other international positions, EXPORT critically studied and analyzed TV relatively early on. In Facing a Family she explores the coding of reality, of perception, through this depicting and representing medium. Here the screen functions as an imaginary canvas and represents the exact interface where the subject experiences separation and difference. (SB)
