This film documents an everyday kind of installation, familiar to many women, not only in California: various camera angles show house and garden, the lawn mown in geometrical patterns, a sculpture formed by an item of clothing and a lawnmower, a glance downward to a woman’s shoes, underclothes on the line, hanging artistically out to dry, a child looking at flowers, a dog lying on the lawn...
