The screen shows green. The green changes almost imperceptibly; it turns darker until it has become dark green, almost black, it then lightens again until it is white. Finally, the yellow, then the blue components of the color are reinforced, and the same phases of darkening and lightening are run through again in each case. The artificiality of the green color awakens associations with the technical conditions of the medium of video, which assembles digital image from red, blue, and green values. (Claudia Slanar)
