Public Transport
From the train station take bus no.1 to the Museum der Moderne Salzburg at the Mönchsberg. Exit the bus at the stop "Mönchsbergaufzug”. On the right hand side you will find the entrance to the Mönchsberg Lift, which will take you to the museum. If you buy your admission tickets for the museum at the ticket counter, you will get a reduced fee for the lift.

From the train station take the bus no. 1 to the Museum der Moderne Salzburg at the Rupertinum. Exit at the bus stop "Herbert von Karajan-Platz." Walk along the Hofstallgasse and the Festival Hall and you will reach the Max-Reinhardt square. The museum is located at the corner of Franziskanergasse and Wiener-Philharmoniker-Gasse.
The entrance to the Study Center is free.
