Cameras and monitors are set up opposite one another in such a way that no matter how they twist or turn, viewers cannot see themselves frontally on
the screens. These self-observers see only different parts of themselves. They cannot see their faces. Enclosed in space, every point in space is their prison guard, their point of view their deadly fate. (Peter Weibel in: Protolkolle, 1982)
